About the Location
The Valle d'Itria, a beautiful inland area of Puglia, is defined by its unique landscape of gently rolling hills, ancient olive groves, and red earth. It is often called "the land of the trulli" because of the countless conical, dry-stone houses that dot the countryside. These iconic dwellings, a UNESCO World Heritage site, are the defining architectural feature of the region.
The valley is home to several enchanting towns, each known for its own unique charm. Martina Franca is famous for its elegant Baroque architecture, while Locorotondo, a circular white-washed village, offers breathtaking panoramic views. Alberobello is the undisputed capital of the trulli, where entire neighborhoods are made up of these distinctive buildings. Other notable towns include Cisternino and Ceglie Messapica, both celebrated for their stunning historic centers, great food, and relaxed atmosphere.
What makes the Itria Valley so popular is its captivating blend of natural beauty, unique architecture, and a sense of timeless tradition. It embodies a slower pace of life, inviting visitors to enjoy authentic local experiences, from savoring fresh, local cuisine to simply admiring the peaceful, idyllic scenery.

Play
During this retreat, you'll be able to join two Yoga classes: a more energetic and dynamic one in the morning, and a more relaxing and slow one in the evening.
We've also organized a special two-hour guided walk in the countryside for you, which will include the foraging and identification of wild herbs. Don't worry, the pace will be slow.
Your retreat also includes two expert-guided bike excursions (you can opt for an electric bike if you prefer). One will be during the day, exploring the Itria Valley, where you can be enchanted by the beauty of Alberobello, Locorotondo, and Martina Franca. The pace will be slow, but since the journey includes some hills, it will be a bit of a fun challenge!A second bike tour is scheduled for the evening, where you'll discover the narrow streets of the historic center of Ceglie Messapica, the village that will host us. This will be a very relaxing and enjoyable ride.
Other activities that require less physical effort include: a pasta-making workshop—all you'll need is your skill and patience!—an alkaline nutrition workshop, and a deeply relaxing gong and Tibetan singing bowls bath.

Stay
An ancient dwelling of Trulli in the beautiful Apulian countryside of Ceglie Messapica, in the province of Brindisi, surrounded by the typical scents of the Valle D’Itria and the rich local food and wine tradition. A refined and exclusive location in an uncontaminated garden of secular olive trees, almond trees and typical Mediterranean plants, ideal for those who love relaxation, comfort and for those who want to enjoy a stay in the places that symbolize the tradition and culture of Puglia. The venue was recently renovated, in full respect of the typical Mediterranean architecture, a few kilometers from the most exclusive marinas of the Adriatic Sea and Ionian Sea.

Eat
You'll enjoy two delicious meals a day, with vegetarian and vegan options always available. Healthy snacks, fresh fruit, tea, and juices will also be at your disposal throughout the day.
All meals are home-cooked, made with fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients to nourish your body, mind, and spirit. And of course, no Italian experience would be complete without a fun pizza night out and a traditional aperitivo in the piazza - they're a must!
